Snow snow snow x.X
paganites showed me a pretty cool link, it's a satellite image and video of how the northeast looked during this last storm that dropped 18 inches of snow XD; http://www.nasa.gov/topics/earth/features/jan27Goes-snow.html

So far for the month of the January, the NYC area has got 36 inches of snow. The all time record for snowfall in a single month is 36.9 inches, and we have a couple smaller systems set to hit the area through the weekend so we will probably beat that mark =p It drives one crazy after a while, so frustrating to deal with, I wish I could just hibernate and play monster hunter while sipping coffee under a heavy blanket.

But alas, it is not meant to be, I must go out and un-bury my car every storm, trust that its little 2 wheel front drive engine will keep me stable on the roads. I actually took a bit of cell phone video while driving yesterday morning: http://www.twitvid.com/DNWNA Nothing exciting, the roads were actually pretty good. Though what is getting annoying is the piles of snow at every corner, it's becoming a guessing game as to when it's safe to pull out at some intersections cause you can't see a damn thing until you're in the middle of the road XD

It is just insane, I have lived here a long time but I don't really remember a winter quite this bad. And yes, I know it's probably still small game compared to what some of you more northern folk get. Still, I think I have a right to complain!

Oh yeah, I did infact buy a PSP and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite XD

I saw those astounding numbers on the news this morning. I was shocked that Syracuse alone has gotten a whopping total of 10 feet! That's freakin insane. I feel so bad for you guys having to try and drive in that mess ><;; Let alone get out in it. Cold weather is suckface!

We've only gotten an inch or 2 and then it melts the next day so it doesn't stay slick for too long at a time. We rarely get snow at all, but this year we've gotten some here and there oddly. o,o

Oh yeah that area by the great lakes always gets hammered constantly by what they call lake effect snow XD I would just not want to do anything if I lived there.

*sends some more snow your way*

Glad you liked the link! Two winters ago we got 60 inches of snow in December (which broke a record) never ever want that again. People here might laugh at your 36 inches (whyyyy does that sound dirty...) but it is abnormal for you and therefor stressful. You've ever right to complain. However when the weather warms and Spring (finally) arrives, don't let me hear you complaining about the heat. :-P

Hey, 36 inches is very respectable for a dragon, don't laugh! Errr.. XD

And don't worry, I love the hot weather <3 The only thing I'll complain about is when the humidity makes it feel like you, your clothes, and your couch have all melted together to one sticky mess ._.

This is why I don't live the fuck in the north anymore.

Heh, here in the DC area, it'd be a luxury if slick roads were the only thing you had to worry about.

For some reason, snow makes people act really stupid on the road. It's not that people were driving slowly, but more that people were switching lanes abruptly and constantly, people aren't paying attention to the traffic lights, people aggressively passing each other, and other fun stuff like that.

It's funny too, I leave extra space between me and the person in front of me when the road is wet, but everyone else sees that as "OH HEY EMPTY SPACE *SWITCH LANES WITHOUT SIGNALING*"

Yep, love that driving. >_>

Sounds like a lot of fun =p I guess it will take nothing less than a crazy accident for some people to learn..
